Class: Intro to Musical Improv [Mar/Apr]

About the Class

This six-week musical improv class is designed to teach improvisers of all experience levels the fundamentals in the art of musical improv!

Learn the basics of spontaneously putting words to music in a fun & supportive environment!

Students do not have to be good singers to take this class, but should have some improv experience.

Instructor: Rachael Sherman. Accompanist: Kana Zink.

About the Instructor

Rachael Sherman is an accomplished improviser and teacher.

She previously performed on Vermont Comedy Club’s mainstage improv team, The Unmentionables, for many years.

Currently, she performs throughout New England with her teams,“The Cafeteria” and “Raccoon Chorus.”

Rachael is also a middle school music teacher, with years of experience as a music educator.

Policies & Procedures

Covid-19 Policy: Vaccinations and boosters are recommended but not required. Masking is at the student’s discretion. All classes take place in our spacious showroom, with no more than 15 people.

Cancellation Policy: We will refund 100% of tuition for cancellations made 14 days (or more) before the start of any class. Tuition cannot be refunded on cancellations made fewer than 14 days before the class. Contact us if you wish to cancel.

Concerns About Payment? If you have the desire to learn, we want you to have the opportunity! We frequently offer installment plans and partial or full scholarships (need-based and diversity). If you are having trouble affording this class, contact us to work out an arrangement.
