GMCF Starts Monday

by Brent Hallenbeck, Burlington Free Press

Now in its eighth year, the Green Mountain Comedy Festival finally has an identifiable home base. While it used to shift between various sites, the stand-up acts, improv groups and sketch-comedy ensembles will now be based primarily at the Vermont Comedy Club, which opened last November on Main Street in Burlington. The couple at the helm of the club, Natalie Miller and Nathan Hartswick, also run the festival in conjunction with founder and Montpelier comedian Kathleen Kanz.
